pictures

i was going to post the picture of thetis the other day, but it was too big and then I had to go. So here is a picture for all of you that I took from a boat. thanks to my new camera for taking nice pictures and to God who provides amazing material to be photographed! I would like to claim to be a good photographer, but really, it's not hard when He's so amazing!

the first picture is a jellyfish. they are fun to play with and make your hands glow in the dark if you get their goop all over you. and yes leslie, that is indeed anna. and i love her too!

Dont they sting when you play with them?

the little ones dont' as a matter of fact! they don't even sting much in the water. they actually die instantly when they leave the water.. i was told most jellyfish die as soon as they leave water. interesting jellyfish facts.

i can not beleive that is anna! last time i saw her she was about 2 weeks old! crazy how kids grow up when you aren't looking. anyway not meaning to argue, or discredit God in any way, but as someone who has an interest in photography i feel a bit choked to read that taking a good photograph is an easy thing. Granted the worl is a beutiful place, it still takes a good eye to get good composition within a frame. i mean thats like saying just because God made the cello play such beautiful music it's not hard to pick up a cello and make it sound good....sorry, i DO know what you meant, i just had to go on a bit there. it is a beautiful piture, but i DON'T think that anyone could have necessarily have snapped the same picture.

true true and i agree heartily. it's like Christians.. God's always speaking, but we dont' always notice Him and hear what He's saying. God has given us tons of amazing photo opportunities in His creation and only a few will capture it really well, because He's gifted them in that area. But basically what I was saying is that He made it beautiful in the first place. Then comes the photographer. :)

okay. and just because god made the english language have correct spellings, and just because he made spell checks work, does not mean that amy can spell good!!!
